“President Biden’s economic policies have caused the first American recession in years. It’s seemingly predictable Democrats would choose this moment to announce tax increases on American families and businesses. Despite all logic, Senate Democrats latest proposal will harm every sector of the U.S. economy, resulting in higher prices for American families and fewer jobs.
Non-partisan analysis will clearly show that the Democrat tax hike destroys American jobs and breaks President Biden’s pledge by increasing taxes on middle income Americans making less than $400,000. Now that we are in a recession, this agreement is beyond economic malpractice, it is economic self-destruction. We will do everything in our power to protect American workers from this devastating legislation.”
